I have been in real estate since 2002. And for much of that time, I was also a mother raising two boys who shared a deep love for football.

Because of the nature of my work, I was present for most of their growing-up years. School runs, weekend games, the ordinary moments that quietly become the ones you treasure most. I rarely missed a game.

 

Not everyone around me had that.

 

I watched many of my peers, talented, hardworking women, get consumed by the long hours of a salaried job. Some were mothers who felt guilty about the time they couldn't give their children. Others were single or had grown children, super capable women who were simply burned out and quietly wondering if this was really all there was.

They wanted more time. More space. More life. But felt stuck.

 

I have always believed there is a reason we are placed where we are. And slowly, I began to feel that my reason was this: to use the career that had given me so much freedom, to help other women find that same freedom for themselves.

 

Real estate is not a perfect career. But for the right person, it can be a truly life-changing one.

 

That belief is what started RealTeam in 2021.

 

What happened next surprised even me. As the team grew, so did the community. New leaders emerged, each with their own story and their own reasons for being here. What binds us is not a single mission but a shared belief: that a real estate career can mean more than closing deals, and that nobody should have to figure it out alone.

 

Today RealTeam is about building people. And building a community where everyone belongs, leads, and grows together.
